Dr. Steven Hatfill, M.D.

Dr. Hatfill is a specialist physician, virologist, and public health consultant. He is board-eligible in Hematological Pathology and holds master’s degrees in Microbial Genetics, Medical Biochemistry, and Experimental Pathology. His medical fellowships include Oxford University, the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, and the National Research Council, where he studied the Ebola virus at the U.S. Army Institute for Infectious Diseases.

From February 2020 until the 2021 Presidential transition, Dr. Hatfill served as a medical and scientific advisor on COVID-19 to the Executive Office of the President of the United States. During this time, he advocated for early drug treatments and emphasized the need for caution and rigorous monitoring of the developing COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. 

In April of 2025, Dr. Hatfill was appointed Senior Advisor to the Department of Health and Human Services ("HHS").
